Career

Pascal BARY

Pascal Bary (April 7, 1953) an amateur rider at first, began his apprenticeship with Sir Mark Prescott (1975-77) in Newmarket.
Upon his return to France, he became the assistant to master trainer François Boutin.  After four years there, he settled on his own account in 1981 and very quickly won several classic victories that brought on him the attention from prestigious stables (Niarchos family, Prince Khalid Abdullah, Moussac family, Lady O’Reilly, Jean -Louis Bouchard, …), that entrusted to train some of their horses. With top Gr1 victories around the world, Pascal Bary is now for years a recognized trainer. He has had under his responsibility such champions as Divine Proportions, Natagora, Six Perfections, Sulamani, Zambezi Sun, Dream Well, Celtic Arms.
Recently Pascal Bary was very successful winning in 2017 the French Oaks with Senga and in 2018 the French Derby with Study of Man for the Niarchos family.
